About The Project
The Yangery BESS Project will be located approximately 10 km north-west of Warrnambool, with spanning across approximately 23.3 hectares of land, and about 270 km south-west of Melbourne in Vicotria.
With a proposed capacity of approximately 120 megawatts (MW), and 480 megawatt-hour (MWh) energy storage, the Yangery BESS Project is expected to charge and discharge stored energy enough to power the equivalent of approximately 42,000 households for a 4-hour discharge.
The project has recevied Development Approval and the grid connection is in progress.
