Narrogin Battery Energy Storage System
About The Project
The Narrogin BESS Project will be located approximately 5 km 5 km south of Narrogin, with spanning across approximately 25 hectares of land, and 200 km south-east of Perth in Western Australia.
With a proposed capacity of approximately 200 megawatts (MW), and 800 megawatt-hour (MWh) energy storage, the Narrogin BESS Project is expected to charge and discharge stored energy enough to power the equivalent of approximately 70,000 households for a 4-hour discharge.
The project is currently under development stage and the grid connection is in progress.
