West Mokoan Solar Farm

About The Project

West Mokoan Solar Farm will be positioned, close to 8km north-east of the Benalla township in Victoria. Encompassing roughly 430 hectares of farm land, the solar farm will be in a superior location to receive outstanding exposure to northern Victoria’s plentiful sunshine.

South Energy initiated the development of West Mokoan Solar Farm in 2019 and formed a partnership with Lightsource BP in 2021 to jointly deliver the project. Financial close has been set to be achieved by Q4 2024, and commercial operation date by Q4 2026.
