West Mokoan and Kennedys Creek are two solar farm sites along Benalla-Yarrawonga Road, north-east of Benalla, Victoria, covering a total of 713 hectares of predominantly flat grazing land. The sites benefit from excellent northern Victoria sunlight and have transitioned from traditional farming to clean energy production.

Development of both sites began in 2019, and in 2021 South Energy handed over the project development right to Lightsource BP, with South Energy involved in the project as landholders of the subject project sites. Both sites received development approvals in 2020 and 2022, and the project is now seeking consolidated planning approval to integrate the two sites and expand battery storage capacity.

Financial close is targeted for Q3 2026, with construction starting in Q4 2026 and commercial operations expected by Q3 2028.
