Goorambat Solar Farm

About The Project

Goorambat is a rural township 17 km north of Benalla on the way to Yarrawonga. The Goorambat Solar Farm will be located 430 metres south-east of the Goorambat township in country Victoria. Situated on approximately 130 hectares of farm land, it is well-positioned to receive excellent exposure to northern Victoria’s rich solar resource.

South Energy initiated the development of Goorambat Solar Farm back in 2019 and formed a partnership with Lightsource BP in 2021 to jointly deliver the project. Financial close has been set to be achieved by Q4 2024, and commercial operation date by Q4 2026.
