Frasers Solar Farm

About The Project

Frasers Solar Farm is located about 5 km north of Glengarry, a small town within the Latrobe Valley, Victoria. Covering nearly 110 hectares, the solar farm is well positioned to provide clean energy in response to the retirement of the conventional power plants in the region.

Frasers Solar Farm is currently undergoing bidding assessment by off-takers. Grid connection process with AusNet, including full impact assessment, has been completed and is now under AEMO review. The grid connection approval is expected to be granted in Q2 2022. Early contracting involvement with top-tier EPC contractors has begun. Financial close activities will be carried out by the in-house project financing team following the grid connection approval and execution of power purchase agreement, with a target commercial operation date by the end of 2024.
