Benger Solar Farm

About The Project

The Benger Solar Farm will be located around 15 km south of the Harvey township and 20 km northeast of Bunbury, the 3rd largest city in Western Australia. Enveloping approximately 180 hectares of land, and the Kemerton Strategic Industrial Area nearby, the project is well positioned to serve local industrial loads with clean renewable energy.

Benger Solar Farm has been discussing with tenants in the nearby Kemerton Industrial Area to supply solar power for their loads. Grid connection studies with Western Power are ongoing, expecting Access Offer from Western Power in Q3 2024. Benger solar farm is in the process of EPC tendering. Financial close is targeted to take place in Q3 2024 after successfully executing the Power Purchase Agreement with a mandated supply date in Q4 2026.
